Review summary
Although I don't have a variety of cruise lines to compare with, nor have I been on many cruises, but I will say this, the Princess franchise is a class act. Super organized, super friendly, super fun! It has me completely sold on cruising as the best way to travel-- you unpack once, travel while you sleep, and never have to pull out your wallet. This particular cruise to Alaska makes for the perfect storm (no pun intended)-- still waters, long summer days, breathtaking scenery, and wonderful shore excursions (adventures!). I would specifically do this cruise again. Even more fun with a larger party-- we had 10-- 5 adults, 4 high schoolers, and a 5 year old. So much for everyone to do-- you almost have anxiety that you can't do everything! Take advantage of the state of the art fitness center and the spa offerings-- massage, pedicure, facials... We also committed to taking the stairs instead of the elevators and ended up exceeding our 10,000 daily step goal every day and by a huge margin (a couple of those days topped 20,000!).
