Review summary

This was the cruise of a lifetime and the best of our 5 cruises taken. Loved every minute of it, and 9 days was a perfect length! Would absolutely cruise again to this area or on a longer cruise like this... the length allows you to sample everything you want to do with no pressure that you don't have much time. So relaxing! And the ship felt like home in no time.

Embarkation

smooth. the terminal gets pretty congested right before embarkation, but it was tolerable and Disney managed the experience well.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Amazing dining experience in main dining rooms! Our team took incredible care of us and loved that our teens were foodies. As they found out items they loved, they started appearing on our table before we even asked - escargot and crab legs especially!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Terrific variety of options for entertainment. We loved the naturalist presentations, trivia and adult games. Plus the views everywhere were stunning

Entertainment

Top notch entertainment! Loved the comedians and variety acts especially.

Children's Programs

The boys had a great time in Edge and met several friends they hung out throughout the 9 day cruise

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
As always, Disney service is amazing. The waiters got to know us, paced the meal so we could get to evening things we wanted to do, and the room steward was super attentive and helpful for even the smallest requests!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
probably my favorite Disney ship!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
perfect base for us on this cruise. We spent a lot of time up on deck 4 enjoying the views. Some reviews talked about bubbles in the porthole but we didn't notice any. Either they fixed it or it just isn't that bad.

Ship tip

Enjoy the Promenade lounge (now named something else but the lounge outside Tiana's place) - lots of fun events, evening snacks and morning pastries plus a great spot to just sit and relax and watch the views.
