We did a 4 night HOTHS. The theme nights are fun, the shows are fantastic, and the Dream is beautiful!

I loved this cruise and Castaway Cay so much. The food was so delicious. The plays were awesome. All of the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. We never ran out of things to do. I went with my 6 year old daughter. We had so much fun. by CandaceCandace

My First Concierge Cruise by avcrn6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Disney Dream

DCL is a superior cruise line. The Disney difference is obvious especially when a DCL ship is in port next to another ship. No, I don’t work for Disney.

Amazing weekend getaway. Very relaxing, yet so much to do. The Beauty and the Beast show was absolutely spectacular!

Good trip with the Grandchildren by PapaStephen

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

This was a great cruise for the grandchildren. For adults it is a good cruise but not great. An alcohol package would make for less hassle with presenting cards and signing for everything. The entertainment was excellent for family. Tipping could be made easier.

Best vacation ever! by Rajnoch

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The Disney Dream is a gorgeous ship. You do get what you pay for. It was expensive but well worth it! EVERY Disney employee gave exceptional customer service! My 11 & 14 yr old boys took note of that too! We were sad for the experience to end! Castaway Cay was the highlight of the cruise!

Unforgettable by barbrook

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

Grand daughter had a blast, wait staff was Amazing, table 95, they knew our names on first night and remembered our likes the entire cruise. My granddaughter likes raw carrots and cucumber, they were delivered to her every night as we sat down for dinner. Thank you for that. Dinner menu should be a little more kid friendly.

WOW, by Elro7777

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

we had a wonderful family vacation - 12 of us - 6 children between 3 and 11 - loved the entertainment - Beauty and Beast was spectacular - Food was mediocre at the best for adults - children ha what they liked - our waiters were excellent (table 3) first seating- kids club was basically activities indoor and we have outdoor children so no one used the club - - Our room was very accomodating - we had three rooms to accomodate two adulta and three children and it worked out very well - the ship in general needs an uplift - it looks tired -

Good for Grandchildren by trainman2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I believe that our adult children and grandchildren all enjoyed their cruise. But for us it is way too big and noisy. Our grandchildren have a memory that they should never forget. The Disney characters had a continual presence for the young children.

Dreamy Disney Cruise by angzcal

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I cannot say enough good things about our Disney Cruise experience. Embarkation was easy. Stateroom was spacious. Staff was enthusiastic. Food was plentiful. The strawberry banana ice cream combination was my favorite. Don’t buy the cooler with water at castaway cay. Just bring your own refillable bottles. Easy. Service was excellent. Kid clubs such a hit. Live shows were awesome. It was hard to come back to real life after Disney dreaming for 5 days.

Weather Impacted Dream Cruise by GatorCruiser

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

The Disney Dream is a very clean ship and very good with the children. The only really disappointment was at dinner there was not any entertainment to keep the children interested. I would think that the wait staff would be more entertaining and there would Disney characters moving about during dinner. Overall, a great cruise for the children. There are some very nice adult only areas, though at times there was little enforcement of parents bringing their children into those areas.

We did the May 25th... by kaelyn25

Sail date: /
Ship: Disney Dream

We did the May 25th sailing, and everything was great! There were some weather issues that caused us to bat dock in Castaway. We’ve done Castaway before so it wasn’t awful. Any way, the crew made the day awesome and the captain found a nice sunny spot to doc for a bit! Other than that, amazing time!!

Family Cruise by wannacruisealot

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (young children)
Ship: Disney Dream / Destination: Caribbean - Bahamas

I liked the cruise, but feel it was too pricey. The signage could be improved, difficult to see on map by elevators where we would disembark for port calls , There was little encounter with wait staff at the pool loungers. The food was great, I enjoyed the Royal dining room best, less crowded feeling and less noise- made it easier to hear each other. Only saw table photographer on Pirate night, not formal night. We enjoyed the access to water, pop and coffee on deck. We have sailed on Royal Caribbean a few times. More bang for my dollar, wait staff is superb even for inside stateroom stewards. Room size is same. But, Disney bathroom felt larger.
