Review summary

I liked the cruise, but feel it was too pricey. The signage could be improved, difficult to see on map by elevators where we would disembark for port calls , There was little encounter with wait staff at the pool loungers. The food was great, I enjoyed the Royal dining room best, less crowded feeling and less noise- made it easier to hear each other. Only saw table photographer on Pirate night, not formal night. We enjoyed the access to water, pop and coffee on deck. We have sailed on Royal Caribbean a few times. More bang for my dollar, wait staff is superb even for inside stateroom stewards. Room size is same. But, Disney bathroom felt larger.

Our dining room server Samanta was engaging. Gusti was more business. The steward for our rooms was barely found around.

too humid/hot when we went. The shops in area were often shuttered up.

Castaway Cay (Disney Private Island)

The service, BBQ, activities, beach were all what we hoped for. We had a blast, wish we could have 2 days there.

Disney Dream was our first cruise. We loved it. The price is high. But I can understand why in some ways. We are going in 2 weeks on oasis. Price is cheaper for 4 vs 7 night. But the extra drink cost etc brings the cost closer than I expected. Good once in a lifetime experience for us. Probably will not sail Disney again. Would love to but can't afford.
