Review summary

This was a family cruise and we spent most of our time with family.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was vey efficient and fast.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining rooms were very well planned though if you did not make a reservation it you had a very long wait time. I suggest you take a reservation for a later time you want, then keep checking the reservation times since they can change. The market (buffet) set up was very confusing with little signage. Lots of choices on types of food.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Tried to jog on the promenade deck.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
I enjoyed the Alaska presenter: Michael Modzelewski, the musicians/DJs.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All ship personnel were very friendly and efficient.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship was very clean but we were not pleased with the ships design. The jogging track was too small. The market (buffet) was too confusing but very large but at times not enough seating.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The balcony stateroom was clean but so small and not very comfortable unless you want to spend all your time in bed.

Ship tip

Make diner reservations before getting on the ship. You can always cancel if you can get a better time while you are on the ship.are

Glad you enjoyed your Alaskan cruise. We like the Balcony cabins. With 2 of us, it doesn’t feel large, but love the balcony and spend most of our time on other parts of the ship.
