If you hate being crowded then you should avoid any cruise ship or terminal. Agreed Carnival has better night life and Lido deck food like Guys Burgers but Princess food is over all better in my experience.

Princess is a way better quality cruuse line than Carnival, but if you prefer Carnival, then by all means cruise them more. Your star ratings don't reflect what you say. You say steward was good, but only give 3 stars? Food is way better on Princess if you have issues with embarkation and disembarkation, complain to the Port of Seattle, since it's not the cruise line that operates the terminal. I was just in Alaska a few weeks ago with more ships in port than what yiu complained about, but didn't seem crowded to me.
