Review summary

Main disappointment was the food quality, followed by inconsistent service. I’ll choose Holland America or Celebrity for my next cruise.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The dining venues are nice as ship is new. And there is a good selection of food. But sadly, most food was pretty bland and not very tasty.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
It’s a nice ship and has a good size, well-run casino. The fitness center is nice and has a lot of quality equipment. The theater shows were mostly pretty good by cruise ship standards.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Comedian and magician were just so-so. But the two production shows were pretty good.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Hit and miss - some were great, others not so much. On prior cruises it seemed all staff were great; friendly, professional enthusiastic. Service not nearly as consistent on this cruise.

Ship Quality

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Mini suite - finishes and design are a bit dated; especially for such a new ship. But bed was very comfortable and cabin was in good condition.
