Review summary

This cruise should be at least 2 days longer. We spent less than 24 hours total in Alaska, the rest at sea. If you are traveling mainly to eat, play games, gamble, and shop for overpriced “luxury” goods, then this cruise is for you.

Thanks for the review. To spend more time in Alaska you might consider a cruise tour before your cruise.

All cruises need more time in ports. Wife and I figured a cruise is for seeing a little of a lot of places and finding one you might want to return to fir a week.

Thanks for your review. Some of the excursions offered in these tiny towns in Alaska have such rich history to discover. To ride part of the Klondike trail in Skagway, see the salmon fish ladder in Ketchikan and hear about the long journey they make to spawn, it’s all pretty neat. Neat you got to see a whale. Sorry the cruise was not able to meet your expectations.
