Not thrilled with Princess, Alaska was beautiful but feel itinerary didn't allow us to see much. And didn't feel for the amount of money spent that we were given the best service.

Buffet was the best. Dining room service was rushed. Specialty dining- app kept saying no availability, but when went to in person was able to get a reservation. Then when we showed up the restaurant was very empty. Was almost like they didn't want anyone to come.

Main shows were good, and enjoyed a few of game shows because of personality of Cruise Director.

No children. But felt sorry for parents. Pool seemed like only option.

Room steward was attentive. Mixed review on wait staff. Depended on where you were. Two stood out, our waitress in Piazza Lounge and our waiter at Sorrentino's.

Ship tip
They claim to go into Dawes Glacier and they don't - very disappointing. Excursions book up way too fast, had to use kiosks on dock and arrange our own. Crowded spaces.
We arranged our own excursion. Went to Mendenhall Glacier - beautiful. My husband booked a kayaking excursion through Princess - again not what advertised - did not see glacier.
We arranged our own excursion - took a carriage ride. Beautiful city, but too many other cruises in at same time. Too busy and not enough time to do anything.
