Review summary

We had sea sick patch but still struggled with motion sickness a lot of the time. Difficult to sleep some nights due to the constant rocking of the ship

Embarkation

2 out of 5
We were promises by we would have a coupon booklet in our room and something celebrating our 30th anniversary but there was nothing!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Food was good. There were lots of options at the buffet. Would have really lined an option to drink soda. Really missed my Coke Zero. Only options were lemonade iced tea coffee and water. Breakfast included a small orange juice

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
We used the fineness center 3 or 4 times. It was nice! Would have liked to try a hot tub but they were always very full of people

Entertainment

2 out of 5
We enjoyed the comedian. Other show was cancelled due to so much rocking and turbulent waters the shop was in.

Children's Programs

No children

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Antonio made up our room each day. He was awesome. Food staff were good also

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Good. First cruise so nothing to compare too

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The room was good. Bathroom was good. The fake wood wallpaper had peeled off the inside of the main door to our room. Made it look cheap/broken.

We always book midship after a bout of seasickness one trip. Worth a try.

Appreciate your feedback. I suffer from motion sickness but my doctor writes me a prescription for the patch. I change it every 3 days

Sounds like a ‘not to be sailor’. If it were me, I would try another venue that might be calmer.

So sorry for your experience. Where was your cabin? We have cruised many times and have learned to book mid-ship for the least amount of movement. Don’t give up on cruising just yet. Try another location to cruise, you may just come to love it.
