Review summary

We had a great experience onboard the Discovery Princess!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Although we used the Medallion App to streamline our embarkation process, the app was difficult to access when we were in the embarkation terminal because of poor signal and multiple people trying to access the app at the same time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the buffet on Lido deck and the dessert options throughout the ship. The meals in the main dining rooms were often a little too salty and overcooked.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The fitness center had new and well-maintained machines. It was the perfect size and had all the exercise equipment needed for someone looking to stay active while on a week-long cruise.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were excellent! The performers put on great shows and were engaging with the audience. We especially liked Uptown and Alison Ward.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We received excellent service from every staff member we encountered. We would especially like to thank Tetiana, our waitress in the Skagway dining room, for her great service!
