This is cruise 20 or 21 for me, I have sailed on Celebriry, Holland America ,Norwegian, Carnival and Royal Caribbean also 2 other cruises with Princess and this is without a doubt the worst experience ever.

The only reason I gave this a 1 is because on our last night we ate at the Crown Grill and it was good food. The rest of the cruise was horrible food. Thank God for the hamburgers and Hot Dogs on deck or we would have been hungry for a week.
The Buffett never changed same food every meal every day and not good either.
As for the dining room also same food every night with maybe o e variation . Not to mention because of this crazy new App thing so the crew never had to interact with you the only dinner reservations we could get was 8:30 or 9:00 way to late to eat bad food

The crew does not wish to speak to guests. After 7 days on the ship we were spoken to by 3 crew members our room steward Mary Ann who was awesome and the steward working further down the hall because we passed him in the hall occasionally. Also waiter in The Crown Grill was very nice.
Ship Quality

The ship was clean enough but so boring in the decor . It’s a new ship only 2 months old at the time but it’s decor is so blah!!! I like a little opulence when I spend this much on a vacation
Cabin / Stateroom

I know it’s an inside stateroom but it was the tiniest cabin I have ever been in .
We had a great time on a whale watching excursion ( not through the cruise line) through a private company called Viator it was great but when we got back to Juneau everything in town was closed so just back on the ship to face another horrible dinner
Saw nothing but tiny pieces of ice in the water. They said there was too much ice to go any further so at that point they could have gone on so we would have more time in Juneau but they didn’t we just sat staring at the same scenery
We have sailed on 6 different lines, twice with Princess. I must say Princess was our least favorite and we now avoid them. The Crown Grill was definitely the highlight for us as well but they fall short everywhere else.
Well damn it, we cruised on the Discovery to the Mexican Riviera in April and had the same opinion on the food. It doesn't sound like our Alaskan cruise in June will be much different. The pizzas by the piazza was our escape.
