Review summary

We love cruising with Princess and this cruise certainly felt like 'home'! Any cruise around Japan is fantastic but this time the other ports gave us other experiences. All crew and staff were amazing on the ship- any issues were solved without a problem. Food was fantastic and there was plenty to do on board if you chose to join in.

We did an excursion to Macau with the ship which was good value and a good way to see it for the first time. The rest of the time in Hong Kong we use the ship shuttles and trains to get around.

A pleasant surprise as we weren't sure what to expect- a day trip to Taipei is worth doing and easy enough to do on your own via the train.

Easy access to trains to do your own thing here- we went to Kyoto one day and on our 2nd trip back we just looked around Osaka- plenty to do.

The port area has a few things to do but Ise Shrine is the main attraction- it is easy to do on your own via trains and a local bus or walk. Worth doing for sure.
