Embarkation

We had a precruise stay arranged through Princess. Pricier than booking on our own, but it was the first time either of us has traveled outside of the US and it gave us peace of mind. Princess' service was fantastic. They met us at the airport just after we exited customs, put is in a prepaid cab, and sent us on or wag to the hotel. Hotel was just outside Stanley Park, an easy walk to many great sights as well as dining options. The next day we made sure our luggage tags were attached, left our bags in our room, and checked in for the cruise in the lobby, not seeing our bags until they met us in our cabin that afternoon. A short while later we were taken by bus over to the cruise terminal, quickly through customs, and aboard the ship. Easy peasy

We had a regular balcony, which was fantastic. Great views the whole trip, especially in Glacier Bay
