Review summary

So disappointed in Princess this time! This was our 6th and possibly last cruise with Princess! Too many issues that could have been avoided! No Chef's table, leaving port with a bad generator, skipping a port, unbelievable lines to get off at excursions, dirty & unkept balconies, no formal night on New Year's Eve, issues with Mediallion apps. . .just issues that we have not had before. Very disappointed.

Balcony was in need of cleaning and painting.

Ship tip

Check to see that they have repaired the generator. . .sailed knowing one was down and missed a port and was late to several ports. Stood in line for over an hour to get off at Grand Turks. No Chef's Table offer on a 10 day New Year Eve cruise. . .big disappointment. Mediallion was VERY spotty.

Wish they had a better port to disembark. . .kind of dirty and a bit unorganized. Our tour was ok, but there was a man on a scooter that cause some issues when the excursion description clearly stated not assessable. I felt sorry for him but he should have booked an excursion that was assesable.

Snorkeled. Too bad it was a rainy cool day. We were sent to the theater to wait until they called our group to disembark, but once we were outside saw that others had just left the ship. . .????? What a mess!!!

Grand Turk Island

Catamaran, beach, snorkel. Grand Turks is beautiful! The main issue was having to wait in line for over an hour to disembark for our excursion. Our tour was cut short because of this. I felt like we were cattle in line to get off the ship. If Princess had allowed only people with booked excursions (with proof) to disembark that would have taken care of late excursions and INCREDIBLY long lines.

We had 1 of our worst cruises on the crown....I think it is the ship..I say give princess another try with a different ship...I just felt something was off on the crown

We are sailing on the crown on Feb 5th and we were just informed a couple days ago of the blown generator than that we will also be skipping Grenada. They did give us a small amount of OBC for the change. So sorry you didn’t have a great time.

I have to admit, at this point I'm surprised Princess isn't offering cruise credit to people who choose to not sail on Crown while they wait on parts for the generator. It's been quite a while since that thing blew, you'd think they'd get more pro active in contacting passengers before their cruise

Sorry that you were so disappointed on this special cruise. If you change cruise lines,do know that they may have some type of issues as well. There are just some things beyond their control. I do hope that your next will be enjoyable!
