Review summary

The cruise was very good for the most part with excellent and plentiful entertainment. Food and service were excellent except for a mild Noro Virus scare..Biggest disappointment was being charged twice for the gratuity for the cabin..We expected to pay $13  a day for the cabin, but were charged $13 a day for each person in the cabin. Never charged this way on all the other cruises we have been on (carnival/Holland America).

$12.95/day per person for inside to balcony cabins & $13.95/day for mini & regular suites. Tips can be pre-paid up to 2 days prior to cruise. For excellent service you can give additional tips to individuals.

Unless you have gratuities included in a deal offered by the TA or cruise line per person gratuities are charged or you can choose traditional tipping

Both passengers always pay the gratuity, as do kids in the same cabin, perhaps you weren't aware previpously

Carnival is per person as well. Including children.

We opted out of that and did traditional tipping. Next time you should try that.
