Awesome God's Country

Sail Date: August 15, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Alaska is truly a masterpiece of God! As we witnessed the beauty and grandeur from sunrise to sunset, we saw eagles in flight, whales having dinner, baby bears having lunch and the mountain goats munching on the hill side of the mountains.  And all the while we were seeing the glaciers in all their splendor!

The staff and crew of the Crown Princess could not have been any better. Marlon and Patricia in the dining room were exceptional, friendly and remembered not only our names, but what we wanted to eat and drink! (They would have our vote for THE BEST of the cruise.) We were in Balcony A514; our room steward was also exceptional in his service, in additional to being patient when we didn't vacate our room early. We were very pleased with the room service...they were right on time and when I ordered the wrong thing, they brought me the correct item almost immediately! We will probably book another cruise on the Crown Princess.

Cabin / Stateroom
loved the views, door linking our balcony with our friends, hair dryer was a plus, big bed was very good,
Embarkation and Disembarkation just needed a bigger 'nudge' to pick up our luggage!
Ship Quality
Destinations and Excursions
Entertainment
appreciated that the entertainment was 'family' oriented

Food and Dining

Tip

we had 'anytime dining' and unless we were wrong, we ended up dining in either Michelangelo or the buffet, except when we paid $25 charge to dine in the Crown Grill. we would like to have dined in De Vinci's more.
