Review summary
Had a very nice and relaxing cruise after we finally were able to board the ship - We were held up for 2 1/2 hours before we could board after checking in. We , as well as many other people were complaining as we were were hungry. and worn out before we were able to board.
Food was great in speciality restaurant, and main dining rooms. - And to our surprise - great food at buffets.
Room was an obstructed ocean view, but we could at least see what the weather was and views coming into ports. Friends had a balcony, and it really was not worth the extra they paid (unless you like to stay in your room a lot of the time).
Crown Princess is in need of refurbishment as carpets appeared stained and rust appeared on ship in many locations. However, we were told it will go into dry-dock in May to have a lot of work done.
Overall, we will cruise the Princess Line whenever we can in the future. Staff was great everywhere.

Ship tip
Crown Princess is a very nicely decorated ship - impressive wall decorations - bars and restaurants very nice - Much better than the gaudy Carnival Cruise ships we've been on many times.
