Review summary

First time on the Costa Line. Was impressed by the beauty of the ship. She is new and very clean. Buffet was very nice, the midnight buffet was the best! I would recommend taking the earlier sitting for dinner so you are hungry for the late buffet. Shore Excursions didn't look all that interesting, so we went out on our own, had a hard time finding enough to do.

Ports of call

Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic

The old town was very pretty, but not much to do. The locals are very, very pushy. Buyer beware, you are beleived to have purchased an item simply by looking at the item. Locals are scary for some

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

3 out of 5
Beaches were great, ask for taxi price before getting in cab.
Don't Miss: beaches

San Juan, Puerto Rico

5 out of 5
This was a good port to go explore by yourself, heard the Bacardi tour was a waste of time. If local merchants charge you too much go next door!

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
This port does not require a shore excursion or an expensive taxi ride. It is gorgeous and the locals are very nice and friendly. Margarittaville is fun but over priced.
Don't Miss: Local Bar just down the beach
