I don't even know where to start! The ship was one of the ones Columbus used when he discovered America! The food was just barely edible! The breakfast buffet was a complete joke! I have never had orange juice that was clear liquid. The only saving grace of this cruise is the iternary it offered. Dany (our room steward) was very friendly but over all I would not take this cruises again unless I was homeless with no bridge to go under. BTW people are allowed to smoke where ever they want so if you don't like smoking take a gas mask with you.

We had a exellent cruise with the Costa. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the crew was very servce oriented. The ship was not the most modern, but everything workt on the ship. It was very pleasant evening at the ship. In short, a nice cruise repeating

Seedy. No adequate walking track. Poor casual dining area.

horrible management. they hid, never lifted a finger to help, never made eye contact, and clearly had nothing to do with helping, while staff toiled around. There is clearly no leadership, no training, and no understanding of how or why they exist. I would fire them all and start over.

Professional staff.

I like the cruise in general.What got to me a bit was that a lot of people on board paid much less for same accomodations than us.It was surprising

The buffet choices were very limited and the ship looks old but the crue was very nice and made us feeling special

It was my first cruise experience and I am hoping not the last! I enjoyed it very much!

This was my second cruise on the Costa Classica. The first was back in the 1990s on a cruise to the Greek Islands out of Venice. It has been renovated and greatly improved. I was one of less than 50 americans out of over 1000 passengers. If you are not the type person who can adjust to different cultures and want everything "spoiled american style" this cruise is not for you. If you enjoy meeting people from around the world and are open minded enough to accept things that are not done exactly like we are used to then I would recommend this. I have not been on a cruise in over 10 years and it seems Costa is nickle and diming you to death but I will say that things may have changed in the cruise industry that I am not aware of. One thing that is new for me is a service charge for room service of 2 euros. Also a charge of 7 euros if you want breakfast in your room. This may now be typical but it is new to me. Overall food quality was not as good as what I experienced 10 years ago but still not bad. The embarkation and disembarkation was much much more efficient than I remembered it 10 years ago

This is good if you are looking for a cruise vacation at a reasonable cost.

The ship was average--not big at all and it is on the older side.

THe Costa Classica is an older ship but well taken care of. The cruise was good value for the money. The service was excellent and the food catered to the nationalities of the passengers. I would have preferred more local cuisine from the countries we were visiting so that we could sample a little of the local culture. All in all, it was a very enjoyable cruise.

For our 4th cruise on the Costa Line, we were looking forward to it, remembering the pleasures of the other cruises. The ship is smaller than others of the Costa Line (but not the smallest), which means the facilities (gym and pools in particular) are not as good as on some of their other ships. But the personnel tried to make up for it! They were all wonderful--aiming to please. For example, when we didn't like anything on the (large) menu, they were willing to make something special for us. The entertainment people were excellent--some of the best shows we've seen. There were plenty of bars (with and without entertainment), comfortable places to sit, interesting shops. We enjoyed having lots of outside decks to sit and read, sun, play cards. What we liked least was the fact that there were few English-speaking people aboard (less than 10%), which meant that a lot of the advertized tours were cancelled, because not enough English-speaking people signed up for them. All personnel on board spoke 5 languages!!! I was amazed at how clean they kept the ship: we always saw people dusting, polishing, washing, cleaning!

Had a great time, met some fun folks at our dining table. Maybe a little too short in some ports but overall had a fantastic time on Costa. Would go again!

I was a good cruise it was not that clean I think it could of been a bit more clean

The ship was okay. I think that the cabins are in need of an upgrade. But the rest of the areas are nice. Maybe new carpet on the top deck.

The Costa Classica is not a new, modern boat, and that is the main reason that the fares are so reasonable. Based on the price we paid, I can't complain, but don't expect a highly modern ship. The crew were great, and the food was on par with other cruise ships. It is also smaller than most ships nowadays.

Nothing but distaste for this cruise. The staff were unhelpful & even rude at times. Everything seemed to be too much trouble or too difficult for them to bother with. Command of English was not good. We will not travel with Costa again.
