Great Cruise by HarrietW1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

Smooth and easy boarding on the ship in about 15 minutes. We had read that this was one of the best ships by far and we totally agree. The ship was beautiful and easy to get around. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Many different things to do and there was entertainment for all tastes.

Princess Coral Ship by CarolW14

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

We were told the ship was comparable to the Norwegian Jewel. Absolutely not! Nothing in comparison! The ship was too closed in; The Norwegian ships had much more open areas to enjoy the sea. The ship actually had mold in certain areas & we experienced alot of alergies (alot of people did). The food d/n compare & the entertainment absolutely did not. The port of calls were good & what we expected. Service was good. The personnel really need better people skills. One person in particular was extremely rude to my husband for playing the piano. My husband is a classical pianoist & he loves to entertain. The assistant activites director, Ron came over & slammed the piano closed & told him that he could not play! VERY RUDE!!!!!! WE W/N CRUISE THE PRINCESS LINE AGAIN!

wonderful cruise by GertrudeD

Ship was clean with friendly and extremely helpful crew. . Shows were average. Not much to do during the afternoons at sea. This was the only cruise that I actually read a whole book while cruising.

Exceeded our expectations by KathleenD400543

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: U.S. - Pacific, Northwest

We returned to cruising after an absence of 10 years; a short repositioning cruise sailing out of Vancouver, BC to San Francisco. The reservation agent with Alaska Airlines Cruises was very well informed and helpful; if she didn't have an answer for me she found someone that did. From the moment we entered the cruise port everything was so very well organized and efficient making the embarkation very smooth. The express check-out was an excellent idea. The Lotus Spa was fabulous, from the treatments I received to the overall ambience. The Personal Choice Dining suited us, as it didn't tie us down to a specific dining time, and, we met some interesting passengers where we shared stories of past cruises.

Beyond expectations! by BillC15

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

The Coral Princess is a beautiful, up to date, sparkling clean ship! The staterooms were very spacious, with a magnificent view. Even when I was tired and went to my room for a nap, one look out of the sliding doors and I was back out on the balcony again. Every thing was so well organized. I was amazed at how so many employees could work together so easily and how they kept everything going like clockwork. The employees really made for a relaxing vacation cruise. They always had a smile and hello for you, calling you by name when possible. The buffet at the Horizon was wonderful, with a good variety. We ate every night at the Bodeaux restaraunt. It was exciting to see each night what the 5 course meal would consist of, and it never dissapointed. Our waiter and staff had such wonderful personalities. The shows, shops, game rooms, music, everything was terriffic. The Coral Princess will make you feel like that you are out on the town, getting red carpet treatment.

Alaska Cruise by HarveyW1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

Ship was small in comparison to other cruises, however, this is a necessity for an Alaskan cruise. Food was Ok, not great. Entertainment was terrible with the exception of one comedian. Service was Ok, not great, with the exception of our room stewart. The best part of the entire trip was the fact that we met some wonderful people our own age.

Wonderful Alaskan Cruise by JohnJ16

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Alaska - Gulf of Alaska

Even though I have lived in Alaska for the last 10 years, my wife and I had never seen this part of our state. It was great being able to see the Alaskan panhandle and experience Glacier Bay and the ports of Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan. Seeing it all from the ship was wonderful. We learned about the history and saw wildlife from a different perspective. The weather was perfect and the seas were calm.

A Fabulous 16 Days on the Coral Princess by SallieR

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

We had a wonderful 16 days aboard the Coral Princess. My significant other and I both almost felt "at home" on the ship. It was kind of sad when it was time to disembark. The crew kept the ship as clean as is possible at all times. The food was all right, not fabulous, but edible and tolerable. The activities aboard ship were wonderful- something for everyone- impossible to be "bored". We're ready to cruise again!

"A Terrific Cruise" by ElaineB6

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

This was our 7th cruise - the 2nd Princess one. Our 1st Princess cruise was so special but then the 1st of everything is special. After using Celebrity 3 times, we missed a lot of the things we were accustomed to. The ship itself was beautiful and the staff was wonderful, as always. The cabin shower/bathroom was way too small but we loved the larger balcony. We weren't really excited about the food. It was good; however, not as exceptional as we've had in the past. We were disappointed w/having to pay extra for several things. The Panama Canal cruise was enjoyable though.

The ship was fine...the cruise enjoyable by BonnieA

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

The ship was very comfortable - - My personal choice would be to have a smoke free environment in the "lounges"..not a non-smoking section on the opposite side of the room - you could still smell the smoke.

Panama Cruise by Derek

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

The ship was terrific and the staff excellent. The ship staff shopping tips were a bonus and helped save many dollars on jewelry shopping. The port stops of Cozemul and Limon (Mexico and Costa Rica) were not pleasant and will not go back on shore in the future there. Grand Cayman and Panama were excellent. The Panama locks were amazing. Jamaica was nice and good shopping but severe poverty on the inland part of the island.

A fantastic cruise by VirginiaT1

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

My first on a Princess ship. This one was taken because the itinerary included the Panama Canal. The individual staff members that I came in contact with treated me marvelously. Attention to detail was very evident in the diningrooms. Our waiter was very aware of taking the time to be sure that our dining experience would be one to be remembered. There was so many different options of activity while I was on board., that I never was bored.

An Awesome Cruise Experience by FrancesS3

Sail date: /
Ship: Coral Princess / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

Me, my husband Len and friend Charlie agreed almost from the start about the awesome crew, although the size of our cabin appeared on the small size it had all the comforts of home with quick and fastidiious service right at our finger tips. We genuinely loved our new found friends at Table 133 in the dining room, the non-stop committment of Luijhie and Lawrence who were most affable, polite and attentive to all of our needs. The productions, staff in general and off-shore excursions were well planned and more than met with our needs. Our friend Charlie in C225 complimented me on my off-shore excursion choices; the staff was polite especially when I had to change one 7:25 Am departure to a more feasible time. This was our very first experience with the Princess Cruise Lines and we're already looking forward to more sea adventures with you. Although we found some inconsistencies with our billing, upon our quick disembarkation on Friday the 22nd, I'm sure that it will straightened out after the Christmas holiday. We loved the upscaled services and environs and the laid back unpretentious feelings while on board. Thank you from the bottom of our Californina hearts for another sea adventure that was so hard to beat!!
