The main issue for us was the main dining room...we were seated at a nice table for 2 right in the middle of the tables with large families, adjacent to a table of 5 children, 1 adult. We love children and don’t mind being adjacent, the problem here wasn’t the children, it was the adults. All through dinner the children (who looked to range from 5-8) were climbing over the tables, standing on the chairs and in the windows and screaming at each other…the problem was the one adult seated with them was more interested in her phone and the rest of the adults in her party at another table across the aisle. It was impossible to identify which adults the kids belonged to as none of the adults interacted with them! Not once did she (or any of the adults in their group) remind them that they are in public, use your inside voice, it’s not polite to scream in a restaurant, come down off the table, sit in your seat, etc. I get it, this was a Thanksgiving cruise, so lots of families, but really? It’s simple, teach kids from a young age how to behave in public. We let our waiter (Sumantra) know that we wouldn’t be back and were pleased to find a new table assignment (on the “adult” side of the dining room…) for the remainder of the cruise. The new wait staff, Wilger (new to Celebrity) and Mayra (just a lovely lady), and Jomar, the sommelier, were fantastic.

It was my first time on Celebrity, ship was smaller which was nice, less lines. Lots of fun things to do and staff were awesome. Just wasn't as thrilled with the main dining room meals, very small and a few were bland.

On Wednesday 11/22 there was an unruly guest in the room directly across from us. Security was station outside of the guest's room and eventually body slammed the guest into our door, as the guest was trying to leave their room. I do not know what the situation entailed. It took two of us to hold our door closed from it slamming open, even as it was locked. My children were terrified. When we called guest services, they gave us a very robotic response of "I'm sorry" and that there was nothing that they could do. It was not very comforting. Our children would not leave the rooms because they were too scared.

Aside from the bar service backlog and terrible first room, we enjoyed the ship and staff. The shows and entertainment were great. Fun nights in casino and lazy days poolside.

Had a great time, would definitely go on this cruise again.

The food was excellent and the weight staff at main dining was exceptional. This is one of the better cruise lines I’ve been on I have already put down a down payment for my next booking.

This was our first cruise and we enjoyed it a lot. We recommend other friends as well and our cousin booked their celebrity cruise for March2024.

Good service with updated staterooms and great WIFI. Very bad food!

Beautiful people and staff, poor food, restaurant troubles, enjoyable ship and nice social/community spaces.

Main dining room is total disappointment, they use low quality ingredients and low quality menu for their customers

The only disappointing item about the cruise was a lack of recognition of our 50th Wedding Anniversary. This milestone was noted on our reservation. It is not that we needed this recognition in any way, but was surprised that Celebrity didn't note this in some way.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise to Maine, Nova Scotia, Quebec City and Prince Edward Island. We only wish we had more time to spend in each location. One comment, however. Though we did not spend a lot of time in our cabin, when we did and tried to watch TV, the satellite service was not very good. Whenever we watched a program, the picture and sound would freeze frequently. When we complained about it to Guest Services, all we got was "We are so sorry", and nothing was done to fix the problem.

The Celebrity Summit delivered on one of our best vacations ever. We were a multi-generational group and all ages had a wonderful time.

We had perfect weather for this wonderful cruise! Great ports and sea days were perfectly timed.

Celebrity Summit is a nice ship. This particular itinerary, however, has too many sea days and the ports of call don't have enough to do. The excursions that do exist are very expensive and uninteresting for the price.

Great destination and leaving from our home state made this a winner for an itinerary. We enjoy sea days so the extra days didn't bother us as we don't look to be entertained by the staff all the time. Captain was awesome and so was the Cruise Director. The biggest letdown was the dining experience. In general, it was horrible except when we paid a lot of money to eat in Tuscan Grille or Le Chef Petite. Only time we enjoyed a delicious meal along with great service.

Celebrity has declined in quality and I will no longer sail with them due to lack of value.
