We are repeat customers on the Summit and had a great time.
Embarkation

Very fast. Dropped stuff off in the room, had a quick lunch in the buffet and went out to tour Old San Juan. Loved that you could leave the ship and come back as it only left @ 8 p.m.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food in the main dining room was very good. Have been on several Celebrity cruises this year and the menu could be tweaked a little as it’s exactly the same on each ship. Stir fry in the buffet was very good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
There was always something going on but the cruise was very port intense so there wasn’t too much time to partake.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Production shows were good but haven’t changed in years. Singers were good especially L Marco. Entertainment around the ship was good.
Service and Staff

Service was great, room steward kept our room spotless. Crew was always smiling and the ship was very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

We have stayed in this cabin before. It was kept clean and met our needs.
Flew in the same day but was able to leave the ship after checking in. Old San Juan was a few minutes walking distance from the ship. It was fun walking around, doing some shopping and enjoying the old buildings and churches. It was hot and very humid but that’s typical of Puerto Rico.
We were excited to go to a black sand beach and Mero Beach fit the bill. It was supposed to just be a beach transfer but our driver gave us a tour on the way back and showed us the sights.
Our excursion was good but long and not exactly what the “brochure” said. Was a beautiful island tour with hairpin turns with many stops to see the ocean views and the Pitons, visited a small garden with a waterfall and lunch was at an old sugar mill. The catamaran back was powered - never put up the sails up but we figured it would have taken forever sailing back going into the wind. The rum punches had a real punch to them!
Took a catamaran trip to Greene Island and went snorkeling. The water was pretty murky and saw some fish and coral but nothing spectacular. We were disappointed that the cat was powered and not a sailing cat but it was a fun day. Went around the entire island of Antigua and stopped for a swim at a beach on the way back.
Walked around Philipsburg in the morning and took an excursion to Orient Beach in the afternoon. Orient Beach has some fun waves and is a beautiful beach despite the clouds that rolled in.
