I would try Celebrity again because it was a gorgeous ship and the layout and size of the Summit was perfect. The food was a little disappointing and the service but I’m not real picky so I just rolled with it. I thought some of the prices on drinks were pretty high and also the gift shops didn’t have a lot to offer like other ships. The shops were lovely, tho and high end. We had a group of 10 and we all met at the Rendevous Lounge every evening before dinner to share what we had done that day. It was one of my best cruises to date and a great itinerary.

Once again I was surprised at the level of service not being near what I expected. The wait staff and bar staff in the dining room were practically nonexistent. Dinner took almost 2.5 hours. The room steward did a good job cleaning but a couple times didn’t leave washcloths or shorted us a towel. She also could never be found. She was very friendly but invisible.

This was the cleanest and well maintained ship I’ve been on out of 19 cruises. They were constantly cleaning. The layout was perfect.
Cabin / Stateroom

I was in Cabin 1022 which was a veranda class with a nice balcony. The room was impeccable. Very clean and new. Nice layout with plenty of storage room. I loved it and it was right across from the spa. The four sets of cabins in this area of the ship were newly built when they did the upgrades in March.
Ship tip
Eat more often at the buffet. The food there was very good. Best tuna fish salad I’ve ever had in my life. Everything was great. Don’t miss the stir fry station at night. It was the best. Also don’t miss the gelato station. The Sky Lounge was lots of fun and the casino was smoke free, which I loved!
I’ve been here quite often and also stayed in my timeshare here for a week. The island is very friendly and beautiful. Orient Bay is gorgeous but the French side is not as friendly nor as clean as the Dutch side. Any water excursion is lots of fun and beautiful. I love this island!
This is a very lush island with gorgeous waterfalls and nature type things to do. It’s also very poverty stricken. The people are so nice. Did not do an excursion.
I went to Carlisle Bay on an excursion and had a nice time. It is a very friendly and well educated island. A tour of the island is always fun and shows off the different scenery the island offers. This is another favorite island of mine.
It was raining very heavily when I was in port but we grabbed a taxi and did a two hour run around the island. We stopped at a spice shack and bought several things there. Grenada is also a very lush island with waterfalls and beautiful foliage. The people are lovely.
