Review summary

Overall excellent itinerary, good food on the ship and less crowded than other cruises I have been, especially during holiday time. Couple of feedback: enforcing dress code for 12 year old (left a bad taste), Foul smell on our floor 2-3 days, Cost of internet package (outrageous). Food quality, service quality and room maintenance were excellent.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The main dining room service and food was excellent. The host at main dining room sent back my 12 year old kid for dress code (shorts and polos) when there were older women with literally mini shorts. This is outrageous to be insulted this way. Also, the oceanview cafe was promptly closing lunch service around 4pm, when all people come onboard, causing lot of confusion. Suggestion is to adjust on port of call days.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
No issues with service level of staff - cabin maintenance and Main dining room staff.

Ship Quality

Ship was overall clean and well maintained. But our floor (8th floor) smelt like sewage few days. Some of the other guests complained as well.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The room was right across door way for cruise staff. It was constantly opened and closed, banging the door, causing significant disturbance. Complained to the front-desk with not much help. Avoid stateroom 8066. My honest view. This is not a reflection on the support staff. They were GREAT.

Ship tip

Avoid 8066 state room. Great food and ambience. Excellent itinerary. Enjoyed the cruise. Except for 2 issues... State room noise and Main dining room host at the entrance who was rude, sending back my 12 year old son for dress code...

Nice island. We took the salt and champagne excursion. But not too thrilled. The snorkeling and beach time was just 1/2 hr on a 4 hour excursion.

Castries, St. Lucia

Beautiful island. Don't take shore excursion. Outside agents get you to the same place that shore excursions take you to (beach club) for $40 back and forth. The same would have costed $360 if you took an excursion. Awesome beach about 10 min from he port. Had a ball.
