Review summary

The crew was fabulous!  Very friendly, efficient, helpful and happy!  They made our cruise!  Overall the food was a disappointment except for the extraordinary experience in the Qsine restuarant, which cost us $45 each but the food was worth it. So much fun!  I can count three other meals in the evening in the main dining room that were tasty.  The other evenings were either overcooked, tasteless or the variety was not good.  The breakfast in the main dining room was very good.  Pastries are yummy! The chaos and food in the Skyview buffet was awful.  Wish they would offer more free venues for lunch but the cruise lines are cutting back on free venues and activities.  Frankly we were bored when on board.  Not enough to do unless you wanted to spend money.  Would be nice if they have a few guest speakers on board to enrich your trip. I come on cruises to learn and to relax. The activities were few and far between.  The magician they hired for one evening was terrible.  Nothing new and did not have anything magical.  The comedians were excellent.

The getting off and on the ship throughout the entire cruise was fast and easy.  Very impressed how good that was.  Itinerary was good.  Ship was clean and attractive.  Stores on board were plentiful and had great selections.  The passengers all were friendly and had a lot in common so we did not see a sour face the whole week.  We had more positives than negatives and will sail with Celebrity again.

Again I repeat that the Summit crew is the BEST!

Typical cabin. Quiet, small but attendant, Mervin, kept it clean and he gave fantastic service.

Very poor country. Huge unemployment problem and the poor dogs throughout the island are mistreated. The beauty of the island was ruined by the poverty for me.
