Review summary

Cruise Celebrity Summit 4/23/-4/30-2011 What a great surprise, we did our homework read all the reviews and set the bar low. We were wow'd at the Celebrity Summit we are not new at crusing and have cruised several lines. This is the date and part of the carribean that we had our hearts set on this time for crusing. Our stateroom had a ocean view which was nice, and it was large for our needs of 7 days. The food selection was awesome. The Brunch on Thursday afternoon was just the perfect touch. The guest relations was very helpful. We were never able to meet the celebrity club rep as she was rarely in or at her desk. So we did not have the opportunity to see what benefits if any offered on the cruise week The normandie resturant was nice the staff could be more informed on the menu and food contents. Overall we have a great time and will more than likely cruise again on Celebrity.

We read all the others who had given their thoughts and suggestion on the ship. Yes it's an older ship but the staff has made every attempt to keep the ship in shape. Yes the carpets need to be replaced and areas are showing it's wear and tear. But we are guest only not planning to live on the ship. Nothing was a detraction. Loved the gym sauna, and spa. The ship had a great lay out.

Never have a ship cruise to an island on national a island holiday. Everything was shut down. Driving around was easy, although we did not get to see the life of the island everything was mostly closed that day. Spent a nice time jet skiing. You should also advise cruise guest that there are free beaches with all the amenities, we were smart enought to check thing out for ourselves.o
