So good we're doing it again!

Sail Date: August 31, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

This was our 6th cruise (second on Celebrity) and by far our best! We had a fantastic suite which really makes the whole experience SO much better . . . in fact, we're ready to do the whole thing over again next summer and booking it tonight! Same room, same itinerary and sister-ship since the Summit is no longer sailing that route.

Pros: First class room & butler

Cons: hmmm . . . what cons? . . I didn't win bingo?

Recommends Celebrity Summit? Yes!

Food and Dining
Most cruise ship food is spectacular - this seemed like institutional food quickly produced. We did however, like the food in the specialty restaurant much more.
Ship Quality
The ship was beautiful and clean and layed out efficiently.
Cabin / Stateroom
Fantastic! All the way down to the flat screened plasma TV's and the Bang and Olafsen stereo system. Floor to ceiling windows that fanned out over the ship . . . we really didn't even want to leave our suite - in fact one night we didn't! We cozied up on the couch with a blankie and ordered in! A great way to end a long day.
Service and Staff
Awsome staff - couldn't be better!
Well let's see - I hit a slot jackpot in the casino . . . does it get any better than that???
Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska
Whale watching - it's incredible!
Skagway, Alaska
Narrow gauge train ride is ok. I think I would rent a car and take the drive myself next time.
Don't Miss: Brew Pub
Juneau, Alaska
The Taku Lodge is certainly a must see.
Don't Miss: Alaskan King Crab at the Crab Shack . . . again!
Ketchikan, Alaska
The best salmon fishing - really. We caught over 60 lbs and had it processed and shipped home.
Don't Miss: Don't miss the Alaskan King Crab at the Crab Shack - it's KILLER!
