Review summary

Extremely friendly staff provided a great environment to enjoy our trip. The ship was always clean and an inviting backdrop to the great food, entertainment and destinations / tours.

The Normandy Restaurant is a wonderful experience. It is a bargain at the $30 surcharge. The main dining room was excellent and the alternative food service areas provided very good options when needed for time or other conveniences

We had a concierge room with a veranda. It was certainly large enough for the two of us and was always maintained in a spotless condition

We took a Helicopter to the Taku Glacier. It was spectacular! We enjoyed the shopping opportunities and had a lot of fun Red Dog Saloon.

We took the Sea Otter and Whale Watch tour. It was fantastic as we saw over 100 otters and got great photographs. Also saw 100's of eagles and 3 humpback whales. Shopping was very good with some up scale opportunities.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

We went on the Brown Bear Search and saw two brown bears. One was feeding on Salmon and we got great photographs. The other ran in front of our vehicle on the trip back to the ship.
