A: Think of the casual night dress code as more along the lines of Royal's Dress Your Best night and Carnival's Elegant Night. Celebrity's idea is better resort evening casual, meaning no shorts for either gender if over 12, with jeans, linen pants, kha... kis, and dockers with a pole or casual button down being the bare minimum. Females can choose below the knee capris,sun/maxi dresses, or skirts.See More

A: It’s on their website. While I don’t know if they will turn you away for wearing shorts, they don’t fall into their guidelines. https://www.celebritycruises.com/faqs/onboard-dress-code

A: Sneakers fine. No shorts, tank tops, swimsuits. Probably no flip flops, though I don't remember that being explicitly stated. I will say that in my experience people wore somewhat nicer clothes than at the MDRs on Carnival or Royal, but ymmv.

Answered by cmressler on June 25, 2023

A: Celebrity has their dress code posted in their FAQ pages. Like Royal the basic casual night code is for pants be it jeans, khakis, or dockers with a presentable shirt on casual nights with no specifics on footwear except stating flip-flops will not b... e permitted in any of the sit down service dining rooms. Unlike Royal crew on Celebrity will enforce the dress code for the eatery areas.See More

A: If you carry your own luggage off, you can be the first people off. We did a few weeks ago but took our time getting off and were off by @ 8:40. Otherwise, you will only find out a day or two before the ship gets in.

A: We went on this same cruise last July, and the ship sailed into the harbor near the statue and did a couple of passes before stopping and doing a 360 so everyone could see it. Great views of both the statue and lower Manhattan if you're into that kin... d of thing.See More

Answered by cmressler on June 6, 2023

A: part 2... The statue will be visible to those on the docked ship, further north into the Hudson River. Balconies facing north (ship alternates docking bow or stern in) might have obstructed views of the statue because a peninsula with shipping contai... ners is in-between the ship and Liberty Island. One of the top decks is your best viewing option.See More

Answered by maryred on June 6, 2023

A: Part 1... If asking if what the timing of the sail by of Liberty Island is from Bayonne, it varies. Permission by the harbor master for the pilot to backtrack up the Hudson River does not always happen. A schedule needsNarrowed bridge.

Answered by maryred on June 6, 2023

A: Two shows each night typically at 7 and 9. On a 7 day sailing you will have up to 3 production shows by the ship singers and dancers with the balance being guest (shore) performers - typically singers (individual and/or group) and comedians

A: We had outlets on our beside table lamp but only accessible by one side of bed when made up as a double

Answered by lynsey623 on June 19, 2023

A: Typically no bedside outlets of any type. This is because beds can be either in twin or queen configuration. Outlets are at the desk and on newer ships ( last few years) you will see USB outlets. They also have an outlet for European travelers.

A: We've taken the Summit on 4 occasions, but only felt ocean movement once heading into an unavoidable storm. The ship's crew announced the possible motion sickness very early and provided advice on how to combat it. If you don't like pills, use the tr... avel/ motion sickness wrist bands. A: I have sailed to Bermuda 3 times. It can be a little rough depending on the weather. I always come prepared with motion sickness patches and have been fine. If you get sick easily I would come prepared so your trip is not ruined.

Answered by wkulp on May 11, 2023

A: Sort of you are crossing a larger expanse of deep ocean than if island hopping down in the Bahamas or Caribbean. This deep water can be calm most of the time but it gets very turbulent due to incoming storms then it does get rough. Newer bigger ships... have better stabilizers to counter, but the Summit is an older small ship. So be prepared for both ends of the spectrum.See More
