We've taken the Summit on 4 occasions, but only felt ocean movement once heading into an unavoidable storm. The ship's crew announced the possible motion sickness very early and provided advice on how to combat it. If you don't like pills, use the travel/ motion sickness wrist bands. They worked for me.

Sort of you are crossing a larger expanse of deep ocean than if island hopping down in the Bahamas or Caribbean. This deep water can be calm most of the time but it gets very turbulent due to incoming storms then it does get rough. Newer bigger ships have better stabilizers to counter, but the Summit is an older small ship. So be prepared for both ends of the spectrum.

I have sailed to Bermuda 3 times. It can be a little rough depending on the weather. I always come prepared with motion sickness patches and have been fine. If you get sick easily I would come prepared so your trip is not ruined.
