Review summary

We waited 3 years for this trip (pandemic cancellation) and the 7 days flew by

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Embarkation was very organized and fast. We arrived at our 12:30 boarding time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Breakfast and lunch in the buffet were good. We did lunch one day in the main dining room and it was ok, nothing special. Our dinner servers and dining room bar service were excellent. Dining room dinners were not as good as I remembered them from several years ago but still ok.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We played a lot of trivia and thought Wagner was a hoot! We enjoyed the comedian very much. He made someone laugh so hard they couldn’t catch their breath and medical assistance was called for. The show resumed about 10-15 minutes later.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We enjoyed the performer from Jersey Boys

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every staff member we encountered had a smile and a nice greeting.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
It’s an older ship but constantly being cared for. Yes, our balcony furniture had seen better days but we knew the age of the ship when we booked.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Lots of storage in the cabin Could use more/better placed outlets

Ship tip

The crew is the highlight of this ship!

Ports of call

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Our group took the train ride and thoroughly enjoyed it.

CRUISE ENDICOTT ARM & DAWES GLACIER

5 out of 5
We lucked out with beautiful weather and the ship was able to get pretty close to the glacier.

Seattle, Washington

5 out of 5
We stayed 2 nights before the cruise and did a lot of walking and enjoyed the Chihuly museum, Seattle Center and the monorail to Pike Market area. Yes, there are a lot of homeless people in Seattle but we didn’t feel unsafe at any point.

Victoria, British Columbia

1 out of 5
There really wasn’t much time in this port. Our group took a photo under the welcome to Canada sign and that was about it for most of us

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
We walked around town, saw lots of salmon in the creek, Tongass museum.

Juneau, Alaska

3 out of 5
Sooooo crowded

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

5 out of 5
Great scenery

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
We booked the Seattle city tour/airport drop off excursion and it worked out really well. We used the port valet service which was wonderful.
