Review summary

The sites, kind people, activities on a nice ship were great. Being highly disabled and placed in a small NON ADA room after originally being placed in an ADA room is almost cruel for what I battle with. Put my wife and grandson through much inconvenience that could have been avoided. Hard to forgive that. I'd give the cruise a 2 star even though it automatically gives a 3.8-not true imo

Embarkation

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants exceptional. Main dining service excellent, menu cut corners for profit, Buffet-lots of dishes with rices/pastas, hardly any fruit variety beyond, pineapple, melon, grapes, bananas. No berries, kiwi, apple,. I thought Celebrity was better than this. Specialty restaurants really did spectacular. Impossible to get a man sized lobster tail or jumbo shrimp.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My 12 yr old grandson loved kids camp-cried when he left. Bands, Deal or No Deal, and plenty of other activities were fun-lots to do

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Really good but sets were often too short. Crowds would be getting into it and acts would shut down

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Grandson LOVED kids camp. He hated to miss anything. Activities and staff were wonderful.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
International staff was super pleasant, capable, and a joy to interact with. Hard working people

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Very clean, room was not acceptable in terms of NON ADA and ship could not accommodate

Cabin / Stateroom

3 years ago I booked an ADA Concierge Class room. Somehow midway between then and sailing that room got switched to a NON ADA room. I could hardly get my scooter in/out of room without assistance over threshhold (Its not working properly ever since). Had to park in front of bathroom door and move to use bathroom by stepping over it each time. Difficult to climb into bathroom. Forced to hang on to walls in cabin to get to other side as scooter was not usable. This wrecked the comfort of our trip. Ship was at capacity, no other options given. I should be compensated generously for what we went through.

Ship tip

Get up earl on excursion days for maximum enjoyment. Experience Specialty Restaurants

So beautiful and majestic

Victoria, British Columbia

Lots to do here, could be a longer stay. Victoria is such a better port than Seattle. Beautiful, unique place-even has palm trees!

That would be hard for sure. Just to help out others, can you tell us when your room was changed and when you noticed it? Usually, they send an email when they want to change your room and give you time to refuse. Did you see that email?
