Review summary
We had 26 people for a family reunion, ages 1 to 74, so I picked this as a compromise and it turned out great. There was good disco for the teens-20s, lectures and such for us oldies, good children’s activities. I was most impressed by the physical appearance. My last two cruises were on Silversea and Windstar, and imo the Solstice is way prettier than either of them. It has a nice airy feel. And the food was just as good! Endicott arm was a pretty fjord but it really didn’t stack up to Hubbard Glacier or College Fjord, and getting to Juneau at 1.30 pm wasn’t great. But we had to fit our cruise into one week.Embarkation
