This was our first experience on a cruise ship and convinced us that we should do more. We enjoyed a carefree week with every need provided. We had excellent group time during activities and great conversations at our meals or no conversation if we felt that way. We also had considerable quiet alone time in the privacy of our cabin with the peaceful view of the ocean passing by. We also had a very favorable impression of Celebrity Cruises and the level of experience they provided. We will return for another cruise.
Embarkation

We had the last boarding time slot of the day and two cruise ships were loading at the same time. It was crowded and slightly confusing at first but once we dropped off our luggage for loading, it was just getting in line and waiting for large group of people ahead of us to work their way through the security and check-in process.

We had everything that we needed at any time of day in the ship, whether it was one of the regular meals, snacks, specialty coffees, mixed drinks or bottled water. We had the classic package and it was everything we needed. The only time we had an upcharge was with a special martini.
Onboard Activities

The choices are endless. There is a daily list that allows for all kinds of diversions not to mention the standing activities like the library, cards, casino, ping pong, pool and hot tub time, live music, dancing.
Entertainment

We attended a performance of some type every day before our late evening dinner slot. We always enjoyed the performances whether music, theater, comedy or magic. The performers were top notch pros each having appeared on well known tv programs.
Service and Staff

The best. Friendly. Nearly everyone greeting us with a friendly good morning, good evening, hello and always asking us if there is anything that they can provide for us. The room steward was particularly friendly and helpful. We never figured out if he ever slept. He showed up on our floor at all hours to ask if there was anything he could get. When he heard my wife had a birthday, he even gave us a bottle of champagne and a big bow on our door.

With all of the people on the cruise ship, there was constant cleaning going on. Our ship was always clean and well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

comfortable size. We had a balcony that we could open to look for and see whales and see the chunks of ice as we approached the glacier or to fixate on the waves or mountains passing up during the voyage.
Ship tip
Definitely get the all inclusive wifi, drink and gratuities package. It makes everything so easy.
We chose to carry our own luggage out, because we only had one piece and backpack each. It allowed us to get off the ship first thing and beat the crowds at the luggage pickup spot.
