People get dressed up for formal nights on Celebrity Solstice.

Some people still get dressed up with tuxes and gowns, but you will now find it’s more laid back depending on what ship you’re on, Celebrity is a 5 star cruise line all the way and with its older clientele they tend to not wear too much casual at dinner even on formal night. I need to be comfortable so I wear black slacks and a nice top. My husband wears slacks and a long sleeve buttoned shirt. He used to wear a suit and tie and I used to wear a dress with heels. Can’t wear heels anymore do I also did away with the dress, lol. Pretty much whatever you want to wear is fine but no shorts or flip flops, although I have seen some men get in wearing shorts. Then again, you can also go to the buffet instead of the MDR, We enjoy MDR.

I’d like to know about the formal night as well. Going next week!
