Ship tip

An excellent, first-class experience, from the time we checked in at the pier until we disembarked back in Seattle. Every member of the Solstice crew that we encountered was professional, friendly and eager to make sure we had a fun time.

Due to heavy fog, we were unable to tour Misty Fjords; as an alternative our tour guides took us to an island where we saw several black bears (less than 20 feet from us) and an eagle perched in a tree about 15 feet away. While not the same as walking on a glacier, it was a great day.

Whale watching at its finest. We saw two separate Orca pods and another two pods of humpback whales. I don't see how we could have seen more whales in a single 3 hour adventure. Spectacular.

An easy trip to Haines, then an enjoyable boat ride through the preserve. We saw only one eagle, while disappointing it did not run the overall expericne.

Don't ever hear of too many people being disappointed with Celebrity. 😊

They certainly are. We don't drink but I thought that was so nice giving champagne upon entering ship.
