Review summary

Great work as always. It’s hard to cruise anyone else based on the ship alone. So we’ll maintsined and a great size ship to passenger ratio. You never really have to wait in line for anything and getting on and off the ship was a breeze.

May is often a rougher ride and colder/wetter than late June through July. Our experience was great last summer. Assuming things are the same or similar, there is a naturalist, a cultural expert and an active duty Mountie onboard. These folks offer a number of entertaining lectures/shows about Alaska, Canada, whales, history of ports, etc. Going to these talks allowed us to better experience the ports and going to the glacier. Also enjoyable talk by Captain about building the ship. We found that Sushi on 5 was great and only charged for what you order. Cafe al Bacio wonderful for free sweets and pay for espresso based drinks. No smoking in casino which is nice. Ship due soon for full refurb, but very pretty and easy to get around. Fewer kids than RC, which is good or not so good depending on your situation. Enjoy your cruise.

Celebrity Solstice is top notch. Everything was perfect. They even gave everyone a glass of champagne on boarding. Even though I don't drink I thought that was very nice.
