Review summary

Unfortunately the weather was not good and impacted some excursions that were cancelled. But May is not the best month to go to Alaska. One major issue is the 48 hours sea trip on the way back. A cruise should never have a 48 hours sea trip (except crossings) as you are confined in the vessel for a long period of time only to drink, eat and play roulette.... not very exciting!!!!

We went in August of 2015 and had the best time. The week before leaving we were tracking the weather and Alaska was having torrential downpours and mudslides. When we arrived the weather was beautiful, didn't even need jackets except near the glaciers. We did miss the Tracy Arm Fjord as there was a medical emergency on the ship. And of course that's the one thing we wanted to do most. Even had a balcony for it. Anyway, we may have to go back just for that.
