Review summary
We sailed on the Celebrity Solstice from 6/2-6/9 & overall it was a very good experience! The food was average and the entertainment was good. The ship was very clean and the staff members were well-trained and professional. Our favorite stops were in Juneau & Skagway. We did an evening whale quest in Juneau & got some great pictures & videos of humpback whales, & the White Pass Mountain Railroad in Skagway has some stunning scenery! Whale sightings are hit and miss so don't be misled into thinking you'll see them everywhere, but the other aspects of the trip make the experience worth it.

Ship tip
The ship is good overall. I would recommend room service over the 14th floor buffet. The main dining room was pretty good also. If you are physically able to do so, opt for the self-assist option for disembarkation. You'll be the first to get off the ship!
