Review summary

The cable car and train in Cairns were truly magnificent.   The cable car not only takes you up the mountain but over miles of virgin forest on the mountainous terrain.  Pay a little extra for Gold Class on the train; the snacks and drinks are quite good.

The Australia Zoo is very attractive and has all the indigenous local animals.  The crocodile show is a little hokey but fun to watch.

Ship tip

The Ensemble Lounge for after dinner drinks plus soft jazz is great. We had the flu and were quarantined for a few days so room service on our balcony was just right for all our meals.
