Review summary

In summary, we loved the entire experience. We are “virgin” cruisers compared to many people we met on ship so maybe our expectations weren’t as high as some of the posts I’ve seen about Celebrity and this ship and cruise elsewhere. All I can say is that the ship was spotless, modern and well-equipped for our needs, the food and drink and service were exceptional and the itinerary on and off-ship were a perfect mix – like any holiday, it’s up to you to make the most of it and enjoy it. We certainly did and would do it all again tomorrow if we could afford it and my waistline could survive it 😊

Embarkation

Very smooth, better than any airport and was home within 30mins of clearing the ship at Southampton!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Main Dining Room menu, food and service were exceptional. No real need to try the Speciality restaurants though we did eat in Murano which was superb, though $100 surcharge per couple.

Silhouette Theatre

Good shows and wise of Celebrity to show the England WC games here to cater for the large number of Brits on board.

Service and Staff

Cabin attendant, restuarant staff all superb. Cruise Director (Sue Denning) excellent (though too Hi-De-Hi on occasion).

Nice! I cruise quite a bit. Went on Silhouette this past winter and had a blast. She was a fine ship. I agree it seems some have tougher ties than most. It is what you make of it. Congrats!
