Review summary

This was our third Celebrity cruise, and 30th cruise (we have cruised with eight other cruise lines). Celebrity's food quality has slipped on each cruise. The best food was in the buffet. The staff was very disorganized! Service took a long time, dishes were left on tables. When you did interact with them, they were rushed and did not treat you like a valued customer. I spoke with some of them and they said they had enough staff, so it must be the management.

Embarkation

3 out of 5
Embarkation took 15 minutes, but was very smooth, and personnel were friendly. It felt as if it was faster than it actually was. No complaints.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The food quality has slipped drastically over the last year. The drinks are still good, even though they are using less brands.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Something for almost everyone.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The music was not good.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
Did not have any children in our party. Did see three children on board and there were facilities for children on the ship.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
The staff was very disorganized! Dirty dish were left laying around, waiters would not look you in the eye and were hard to find for drinks. We were very disappointed with the service, especially since we had been other Celebrity cruises were the service was excellent. But this ship was just bad.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Ship was clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was comfortable, and always clean.

Ports of call

Barcelona, Spain

4 out of 5
An enjoyable port with good airport connections and many museums and sights.

Marseille (Provence), France

3 out of 5
We enjoyed this port, but the tour was lacking.

Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands

4 out of 5
Many things to see, and could have used more time at this port.

Cartagena, Spain

3 out of 5

Gibraltar (U.K.)

2 out of 5
We wanted to see this port, but we were disappointed with it. The monkeys were the highlight, but other than the monkeys and the view, there is nothing to see or do.

King's Wharf, Bermuda

3 out of 5
Clean island, but really just a beach stop. As for the beaches, they are really nice.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

3 out of 5
We disembarked here, but Florida has lots to see and do. But would have preferred Miami.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
The terminal could use an update and better signage.
