Want a relaxing cruise that offers a lot of different destinations and an onboard experience that is refined, fun and and laid back, then Celebrity Reflection is a great choice.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Embarkation in Port Everglades was seamless. We were docked at the newly constructed Celebrity terminal that was built to accommodate the Celebrity Edge.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Dining rooms were quite nice, the food in the dining room was good, but lacked variety on a few nights of the 14 days cruise.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
The ship itself is not geared to a younger crowd, but did offer activities on the pool deck during the day and various on the ship in the evening. If you are looking for water slides, go karts and zip lining, this is not your ship.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
The Cruise Director Eddy Jenkins did a tremendous job at offering something for everyone in the main theater, we seen live acts, comedians, musicians, vocalists and a few Broadway shows.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Service and the Staff on the Celebrity Reflection are top notch, they do everything in their power to make your vacation as special and as memorable as possible.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
You can't tell that the ship is seven years old, the condition of the ship and cleanliness was better than we have experienced on newer ships in the NCL fleet.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
The size of cabins on the solstice class ships are larger than those found on other ships. The cabin steward did an exceptional job at keeping our room spotless. Our cabin steward Adi was nothing short of amazing.
Embarkation in Port Everglades was seamless. We were docked at the newly constructed Celebrity terminal that was built to accommodate the Celebrity Edge, the layout is well thought out.
There is not a lot to do in the port itself, so visit a local beach (there are 365 of them to chose from) and take in the ocean and white powder beaches. We took a cab ride to Dickenson Bay and rented chairs for the day.
The port itself was ok and the taxi stand was chaos. But don't let that discourage you from visiting a local beach. The town itself is about a mile from the port and is quite walk able.
The town of St-George is a short walk from the ship. The destination is known for its spices, so if you have never seen how nutmeg is cultivated, takes a spice tour.
Aruba is stunning, the ship is docked very close to the town center and was docked in port two days, giving us the opportunity to discover by foot and take a cab to a local beach and soak up the sun and white sands.
Curacao looks like something you would see on a movie set or post card. The port itself is newly built and was opened in July. It is very clean, but does require a lot of walking to get to the shopping area, city center and floating bridge, which is a must see. Golf cart shuttles are offered to an from the security checkpoints.
Bonaire known as a diving destination and for its turquoise waters, has improved since our last visit. More shops have opened on main street and a variety of vendors can be found in the seaside market near the ship.
