Just don't sail on it with high expectations. My wife and I had started the cruise with low expectations, so we were not as upset as some folks were. If you can view it as "just a means to an end" (i.e., an easy way to see Alaska) you'll be fine.

The pool area under covering is fabulous!! Take time to walk the staircases between decks to enjoy some additional art work.

Relax and enjoy all the service and ammonities that the ship offers. If you want to keep the table you are given for the duration of the cruise in the main dining room make reservations. If you don't, you may have to wait for your table or they may put you somewhere else.

It seems everyone eats breakfast and lunch at the same time - seating is very limited, adjust accorningly

The balcony rooms are well worth the extra money - especially the Concierge Class. If you need anything, ask. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Captain Alex is a riot. Rhea, Artika and Selzer were fantastic!

If you like international food, eat at at Qzine. They don't really convey what a fun experience it is and how interesting the food is. We had a ball tasting food from around the world. Steer clear of the art auction. It's just not that high quality.
