Sail date: /
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

as a first time celebrity cruiser, i found this to be one of the best cruise trips we have taken. the service from the whole staff was exceptional- the ship was kept in a state of cleaniness that made us secure regarding the virus issue. the staff were very friendly, smiling and always attentive to our needs.we never had to ask for any service twice- my next cruise will be a celebrity cruise

An okay cruise by AnnC3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The Millenium was nice, nothing unusual about it. It is my understanding that it will go into drydock in April for much needed refurbishment. The food was very good in both the dining room and buffet areas. Unfortunately we did not have time to go to the specialty restaurant, but everyone we spoke to said it was fantastic. The hydrotherapy pool was a great experience, but only on in port days! We had great weather, so of course there weren't enough lounge chairs for the sunspots. We chose the late (8:30) seating for dinner. That was fine except some nights the show was at 7p.m., before dinner which left not much to do after dinner. The TV in the room was a joke. They had CNN, but a two hour taped version that kept repeating, the same was true with the other stations; of course they did have pay-per-view movies. We had a balcony cabin which was nice, room not very large and the shower was a little dated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating; especially, the ice cream servers!

excellent cruise by AuraT

Sail date: / Traveled as:
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

The dinning room service was outstanding. The food everywhere was delicious, the shows were very professional, the music was absolutly beautiful and varied. There was daily mass on board which was a plus for me since I attend daily mass. Thank you for making this a 7 day unforgettable cruise for me and my family. I enjoyed the ports of call, the extreme cleanness and the bottles of desinfectant sope beafore entering the ship, the dinning romms at all times.

Carribbean Vacation from the cold by LarryA7

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We ususally cruise once or twice a year, depending upon my schedule and when I can get away. This cruise is one of the best that we have been on. The ship is beautiful and kept in excellent condition. The officers are visible and always friendly, ths was not so on other trips that we have taken. We have been on other Celebrity ships, and the food is always excellent, but the food on the Millennium is superb. One thing especially great (I like to eat) is that one can get pizza until about 1am, so for those late night snackers, it works out great. One other thing that I really liked is that there were not the constant announcements over the PA system. Only important, need to know, types of things were broadcast, not the "Bingo in 10 minutes" or "Casino is now open" types of messages, which made for a very quiet, relaxing cruise. This have been our best cruise to date, and has really solidified Celebrity for us as our cruise line of choice. If you have not sailed on the Millenium, give the ship a try, you will really experience a positive difference in cruising.

GREAT CRUISE by HollyV2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

THE SHIP WAS VERY CLEAN, STAFF VERY FRIENDLY AND ACCOMODATING, SHIPS STORES HAD GOOD SELECTION OF MERCHANDISE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND CONCIERGE CLASS WITH BALCONY . ROOMS HAD BETTER UPGRADES, PILLOWS, BLANKET, BINOCULARS, UMBRELLA FOR YOUR USE. THEY EVEN HAD A BETTER ROOM SERVICE MENU. THEY CAME AND PUT TALE CLOTH ON BALCONY TABLE.

A great cruise by HarjeetA

Sail date: /
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

We spent a week in the Carribean on Celebrity's Millennium and had a wonderful time. Tremendous food, good range of activities for my wife and I and the three children (ages 8-13). Would definately do again. The ship has been well maintained but is getting old so is in need of refurbishment (to keep up with the competition.

A wonderful cruise, very relaxing! by LaineH

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Overall the ship was wonderful. Very few complaints, the advertised sports bar was no longer in use. The buffet was always congested and there were times no food was available in this area. The entertainment was average at best. The comedians were so bad many people walked out during the shows.

Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Caribbean - Eastern

Great balconies and lots of them. The very best crew you could ever hope for. Excellent room service and fast. I thought the shows in the Celebrity Theater were top rate. The ship was beautiful. Sushi was great! Hats off to the sushi chef. So much food everywhere and the presentation of food was 5 Star ! The special dining at the Olympic was a very special treat and we recommend it highly. Beautiful Ports of Call - I"m still on Caribbean time, three weeks later!

Once in a lifetime experience by JamesM34

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Transatlantic

The ship is first class but getting old. There's nothing too glitzy or over the top. We loved dining on deck for breakfast and lunch looking out the back of the ship. The Cosmos lounge on the top front is also a great place to read and relax. After six years the ship could use refurbishing. Some displays and arrangements are looking old and worn.

December Transatlantic by DaveS22

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Transatlantic

Pod bearing problems led to elimination of port making the transatlantic crossing a too long 7 days. Our concierge level balcony stateroom was very nice but did look a little the worse for wear. The balcony rail needed varnish and the bathroom shower was difficult to adjust. Other minor maintenance problems were noticed in the public areas. The ship was going into dry dock after our trip so perhaps the maintenance problems will be better after that. Generally the ship was tastefully decorated and easy to navigate. Service was first rate and the food was very good but they ran out of some items including OJ which disappointed.

A wonderful time! by CandaceS

Sail date: / Traveled as: Singles/Friends
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Overall...it was in good condition. However, it's time for some parts of it to be updated. Our carpet was stained/old; one of our balcony sides came loose during the cruise and had to be secured; our room did not have any American outlets except for the one the TV was plugged into.

Millenium-great crew-marginal value by SamT

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

The Millenium is a good ship, no doubt and it was in excellent condition, however, that is about the extent of the positive in terms of value received for money paid. We found the "suite" to be far less than what we expected for our money and far less than other ships we have been on. It was small and in our estimation would only be equal to a normal cabin on some of the other RCL and other cruiselines.

Excellent cruise by AnthonyC3

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

Great ship, well designed and user-friendly. Crew eager to help, cruise director friendly and professional. Shows were good, but we would have liked a magician. Our cabin for four practical and beds very confortable. Too many kids in the Adult-only AquaSpa and not enough policing.

The trip of a lifetime by MaureeneR

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Celebrity Millennium / Destination: Europe - Mediterranean

As we told our 3 teenagers, this would be the trip of a lifetime for them and we were right! Our 2 daughters were sad to have the cruise end because they made lots of friends and had a great time...they almost didn't want to leave the ship and see all the wonderful ports because they were having such a great time onboard! Everything on the ship was fantastic and the ports were beyond belief!
