We used the pool a lot with our 3 kids because we were so disappointed with the Camp at Sea.

We had 3 kids with us. They boast a wonderful Camp at Sea for the kids. We took them to the day one meeting. There was nothing about it that pumped the kids up about wanting to attend. They immediately started going over rules, etc. We understand this aspect but they might consider something a little upbeat to get them interested. It was not a free play type format. Our kids wanted nothing to do with it. It was a huge disappointment. We have a 6, 9, and 13 year old. Pool ended up being the main activity for them. We heard this sentiment echoed from other parents.

This ship is older but well maintained and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin size is smaller than we are accustomed to for a veranda with Celebrity. They added several rooms when they updated the ship. I’m guessing they had to shrink cabin sizes to accomplish this.

Ship tip

If you are sailing with children, be content to swim in the pool to keep them occupied. If you are sailing with children you might want to go with Royal Caribbean.
