Review summary

Everything I love about cruising, nothing I hate, specifically a cruise line for grownups traveling without kids to RELAX!!!! The more you cruise, the more you learn about the fact that entire LINES are geared for different markets. If I was twenty something and on my honeymoon and we were going to get drunk and be dancing a lot: Carnival! If we were thirty something with single digit aged kids traveling along: Royal Caribbean! At our age, we are not thrill-seeking or partying. We want to see the world in comfort and luxury, to relax and recuperate, to be pampered and well fed, to enjoy the beautiful natural experience of cruising the ocean and feeling the breeze. Celebrity gets this! We are home!

This basic ocean view room with large round portal was enough light and a great window to enjoy room service breakfast every morning of our cruise. We would definitely cruise this ship again and would gladly accept the same room again. Service and cleanliness and quietness were wonderful. We will be cruising more with Celebrity.

Ship tip

Definitely decide about shore excursions and internet packages before boarding and pre-pay if possible. This entire cruise line is geared toward adults, senior adults mostly. My wife and I are in our mid-fifties and we felt like the youngest people aboard. I am saying this as a fantastic thing! No screaming kids, no rock climbing wall, no surfing machine, no roller coaster, no go karts, no near-death experiences, no loud noises, no drunken party people, so basically there is nothing that I ordinarily hate or ignore/avoid on a cruise ship! Only what I love: Perfect Paradise, nirvana, peace, the sea, and the breeze and the views and the food!
