Review summary

Lovely experience, lovely ship (on the smaller side). We had a great time from start to finish! Staff were excellent. Food was good to great. Tuscan Grill was amazing!!! Internet was poor, made keeping in touch with family difficult.

Food and Dining

Varied from good to great. One downside, dining room closes at 9 am for breakfast on sea days. I am not generally one to sleep in, but that is too early to be done breakfast on a sea day.

Onboard Activities

Solarium pool is lovely. Also enjoyed the outdoor theatre on 12.

Entertainment

The couple who did the cirque style show were fantastic. Also went to one comedy show. The 80's gameshow and friendly feud were super fun and hilarious, even though we do not normally attend these types of things.

Great location. No noise from other cabins or above. Only noise is occasionally that sounds like a motor or perhaps the rutter. It didnt affect is too much. The room has been very nicely redone. Lovely robes! Stateroom attendant charmaine was stellar!

Forgot to mention, the evening after leaving icy strait/Hoonah (sailed at 3 pm) we saw dozens and dozens of whales at about 7 to 7 30 pm while passing the southern third of Baranof Island. It was amazing! Keep an eye out when going past this area... there were too many for this to be a coincidence!
