Review summary

Celebrity has some major work to win back our favor after this trip.  Lack of information and details for the pre-cruise package was our first disappointment and it didn't improve much after that.  Unwilling to allow purchased upgrades when promotions were offered since we were TOUR passengers was another major strike against them.

The Millennium is in need of better upkeep, modernization and service levels need to really improve.  Food was less than OK and didn't meet the celebrity standard we have experienced on other ships. VERY SAD.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Nothing very impressive- pushing volume of food and straying from quality.

Onboard Activities

limited compared to others due to destinations I presume.

Service and Staff

sat with plates in front of us in the dining room for 15 minutes, became a joke about who could sit the longest waiting. Staff just couldn't deliver good service all week.

Cabin / Stateroom

For interior space it was comfortable- limited storage space.

Ports of call

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

5 out of 5
Easy departure location- quick to board arriving later to the ship

Juneau, Alaska

Skagway, Alaska

5 out of 5
Walk to town is easy or spend the 2 bucks to take the shuttle. Be careful on the boardwalk sidewalks.

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

3 out of 5
Go off early and explore and then shop. Stores will ship items home for you for minimal cost.

Ketchikan, Alaska

5 out of 5
Book a float plane privately for less and see more. Doing it privately we were able to do two tours in one day and saw a lot.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

5 out of 5
Easy port to navigate- private transfers have their own area for pick up and was close to find.
